  • Most common are two layers of 4oz and one layer of 6oz E-Glass
  • Traditional longboards would generally have three layers of 6oz E-Glass
  • Competition Shortboards generally would have three layers of 4oz E-Glass
  • Epoxy 'pop-out' surfboards generally have up to five layers of E-Glass (e.g. 3 x 6oz and 2 x 4oz)
  • Carbon fibre and Linen surfboards generally have three or four layers, but may also include a layer of E-Glass
